Oregon Health & Science University: Faculty Recruitment

The Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) currently has a number
of open faculty positions for junior/mid-career scientists at the
Vollum Institute and is very interested in diversifying the applicant
pool and thereby adding more URM faculty. The subject areas include:
Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Cell, Neuroscience, Cellular and

STEM Faculty Openings

The Department of Engineering and Computer Science at Seattle Pacific University has an opening for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering and for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Computer Science, both beginning Fall 2017.

For the EE position, a PhD in EE or Computer Engineering is required, as is a commitment to SPU’s Christian mission. A specialty in analog electronics is highly preferred.

For the CS position, a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field (i.e., Computer Engineering or Software Engineering) is required, as is a commitment to SPU’s Christian mission.  Emphases in programming languages, algorithms and complexity, or operating systems is highly preferred.

Academic Program Manager Position at Rackham Graduate Schoo

We are currently hiring an Academic Program Manager in the area of Recruitment and Graduate Student Engagement at Rackham Graduate School. This position will coordinate the U-M Summer Research Opportunity Program, the Michigan Humanities Emerging Research Scholars (MICHHERS) program, attend select recruitment events and conduct general outreach to prospective students. Position Available: Postdoctoral Research Scientist

The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University seeks a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to participate in a Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative-funded study of the influence of natural oil and gas seeps on the pelagic ecosystem of the Gulf of Mexico. Stanford: Tenure-track opening in Geological Sciences

The Department of Geological Sciences at Stanford is seeking candidates to lead a vibrant research and educational program in the broadly defined area of Mantle Processes. Specific areas of interest include (but are not limited to) the composition, structure, and evolution of our planet over varying length and time scales. We are particularly interested in those who seek to make connections between deep and shallow processes (for example, how the dynamically flowing and recirculating mantle interacts with the crust, hydrosphere, and atmosphere). Research approaches should encompass some combination of field, laboratory, and modeling approaches.
