California Alliance Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

The California Alliance Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is now accepting applications for 2017-2018.  Prospective applicants in the mathematical and physical sciences, chemistry, or engineering are invited to apply by completing ONE application for postdoctoral positions at any of the four partner schools: Berkeley, Caltech, Stanford and UCLA.

Please encourage prospective postdoctoral fellows to apply and help us spread the word by forwarding the announcement on to your colleagues. These are postdoctoral awards for up to two-years, with annual stipends from $55K to $70K per year.

The Institute for Student Success seeks candidates for a Program Coordinator for the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Program at the Storrs campus. The person in this position will develop and implement programs and services to significantly increase the numbers of students matriculating into and successfully completing high quality degree programs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. This includes developing innovative and sustained strategies that result in the graduation of well-prepared, highly-qualified students from underrepresented groups who pursue graduate studies or careers in STEM.  Continue reading

The California Alliance invites prospective postdoctoral fellows to submit ONE application for postdoctoral positions at any of the four partner universities: Berkeley, Caltech, Stanford and UCLA. These are postdoctoral awards for up to two-years, with annual stipends of $55K to $70K in the mathematical, physical and computer sciences, chemistry, and engineering.

There is no formal application deadline, but applicants are encouraged to apply by January 4, 2016, because the Alliance will begin reviewing applications and making award decisions at that time.

The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program is searching for a Lead Application and Database Developer to join the team at the EPA facility in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina

The position is for master’s graduates who have a degree in chemistry, computer science, engineering, bioinformatics, biology, statistics, math, physics or a related discipline, and have education/experience with database concepts and fundamentals, and are proficient in at least one programming language. REACH: Graduate Engineering Preview Program at University of Southern California

REACH is a Master’s and doctoral preview program that takes place at USC’s University Park Campus near downtown Los Angeles. Round-trip transportation, lodging and meals for REACH participants will be paid for by the USC Viterbi School. Attendees who later apply to the USC Viterbi School of Engineering for graduate study will also have their $85 application fee waived.
