Physical fitness is a very important part of being a leader in today’s Army. As future Army officers and leaders, the Michigan Tech Cadets take this very seriously. Every Wednesday morning, our Cadets push themselves through intense CrossFit workouts at CrossFit Hakkapeliitta. Even though all of the cadets have been working out three days a week and are in excellent shape, everyone returns from Cross Fit Physical Training sore. This past week’s work out of the day was called “Hammer,” in memory of Army First Sergeant Michael “Hammer” Bordelon.
