Artic Warriors Back in Broomball

The Artic Warriors are back in another season of hard hitting, goal scoring, and action packed broomball. So far the Artic Warriors have played two games and lead the Wads West Conference 3 with impressive stats. The team has scored 22 goals, 3rd most in all of broomball,  in two games and played shutdown defense by not allowing any goals so far this season, 1st in all of broomball. The Artic Warriors are lead by their Captain, MSIII Amato, who has recorded 2 goals and 5 assists. The powerful offense has seen a power surge in MSII VanWert who has scored 6 goals and has 7 assists. MSIII St. Arnaud leads the team with 12 goals and 4 assists and has been seen in opposing goalies nightmares all season long. The stellar defense has protected MSIV goalie Pscheid by only allowing 13 shots so far this season. The defense is lead by enforcer MSIV Abbott who has recorded more penalty minutes (5) than points (4). Also protecting the net minder is MSIII Johnson who has a knack for stealing the ball and dishing it to the powerful offense recording 8 assists on the young season.  Despite being smaller in size MSIII Witteveen plays a defensive style of a large speed bump by ferociously taking out opponents before they can even think about shooting.

The Artic Warriors look to keep their winning ways this Saturday at 1015 where the square off for their third game of the season which can be seen through the broomball webcams at http://www.mtu.edu/webcams/broomball/gold/stream.html
