Internship Opportunity – Business Student

 

Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital – Human Resources Department

Approximately 20 hours per week. $10.00 per hour.

This internship is to fill in for a 12-week maternity leave for the HR Administrator. Schedule is 20 hours per week, as follows:

Every other Monday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Every other Tuesday: 8:00 AM – noon

All other hours are flexible, depending on your schedule.

The 20 hours per week will start in late March, at the latest, but possibly earlier. We’d like to have an applicant selected sooner, so we can train you on your duties. Training would be less than 20 hours and flexible.

Duties include complex clerical tasks relating to the HR functions of recruiting and benefits administration; running reports from HRIS; facilitating biweekly new employee orientation and writing and distributing monthly internal newsletter.

This is a great opportunity for the right student with the right schedule to learn a lot about the Human Resources function of business! Upper-classman preferred; 2.50 or higher GPA.
