**WTS Michigan Scholarships – Due November 5th, 2012**

Good Afternoon –

WTS is an international organization dedicated to the advancement of women in the transportation industry.  The WTS Foundation (WTSF) was formed in 2009 to provide scholarships to support the next generation of transportation professionals in our mission.  WTSF has provided over $1,000,000 in scholarships to deserving women.

The local WTS Michigan Chapter supports three scholarships for deserving women in Michigan.  There are two undergraduate scholarships at $1,000 each and one graduate scholarship at $2,000.  The women that win at the local level are automatically entered at the International level for their chance at scholarships over $5,000 each.  The Michigan Chapter has had good representation on the International level with a local Michigan undergraduate winner becoming an International recipient awarded with $3,000 and a free networking trip to the WTS International Conference.

You are listed as a contact for your University or College that could post and/or distribute the scholarship applications to those students who may qualify.  The applications are due on November 5th, 2012.  For your convenience I have attached the applications to this email.  You can also download them on our chapter website: http://www.wtsinternational.org/michigan//documents/

If you would reply and confirm your participation, or possibly offer an alternative contact if you cannot assist, I would appreciate it.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Seeking an Environmental Engineer! Sioux City, IA

I am Jahari Soward, Sr. Recruiter for a global manufacturer of high-performance crop and animal nutrients.

Our client’s products are more nutritious, more economical, and easier to handle than any other in the agricultural industry. Their small company (150 employees) is debt-free and currently growing their operations. As for the beautiful Sioux City area, it offers a comparatively low cost of living, great schools, plenty of outdoor activities, and a close proximity to two major cities: Omaha and Minneapolis.

In this highly visible role, you will provide environmental engineering-related support and leadership for all our clients’ sites. This includes dealing with regulatory agencies, insuring compliance to all permits and regulations, monitoring and auditing all discharge streams, implementing pollution-control equipment, providing process-safety management documentation, and acting as the company’s environmental expert.

The qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical/Agriculture Science (Master’s degrees are preferred) as well as 1-2 years of environmental engineering experience in a processing industry. Candidates who have worked with liquid fertilizer or livestock feed supplement products are preferred, but this is not required!
While working here, you will receive a very competitive starting pay (incremental pay increases are based on performance), a 401K and profit-sharing program, cost-shared health insurance, paid holidays, vacation and personal days, continuing education allotment, and much more.

This is a great opportunity to build your own legacy with a company that is in a growth module and financially incredibly sound. Send your resume to jsoward@rcirs.com today for immediate consideration!

Please note: Out of respect for our recruiting process and to provide your candidacy with the best chance for success, I ask that you apply only through the method above. I thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Our Client is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
