Description: Under the new leadership of Dean Elizabeth Loboa, the College of Engineering at the University of Missouri is in the process of hiring approximately 40-50 new faculty in the area of Big Data Analytics, Biomedical Innovations, and Sustainability (Food, Energy, Water, and Smart Cities). These new hires will have the potential to be joint hires with the other colleges/schools at the University of Missouri (MU). - POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: VISITING LECTURER IN THE DEPT OF PHYSICS AND EARTH SCIENCES AT FRAMINGHAM STATE UNIVERSITY
Framingham State University has a small but lively two-year pre-engineering program (and articulation agreements with three state institutions). Currently we need somebody with a Master’s degree or higher, in Engineering or a related field, to teach Introduction to Engineering in the Fall of 2017. We are looking for somebody inspiring, with excellent teaching skills, who has an interest in working in a highly diverse environment, and who also has experience with research-backed models of teaching and practicing engineering. Those with additional background in physics and environmental geophysics (particularly in the context of climate change) would be especially welcome.
