NSF Grant for Petra Huentemeyer

image64665-persPetra Huentemeyer (Physics/EPPSI) received a $170,000 research and development grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Huentemeyer is the principal investigator for “Investigating Large Scale Structures and Galactic Plane Morphologies at TeV Energies with the HAWC Observatory.”

This is the first year of a three-year project potentially totalling $510,000.

 



NASA Grant for Lynn Mazzoleni

Lynn Mazzoleni (Chem/EPSSI) is the principal investigator on a student fellowship project that has received a $30,000 grant from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The project is titled, Aqueous Phase Oxidation of Biomass Combustion Emissions in Cloud. Also involved with the project is Co-PI Matthew Brege (Chem).

REF Award for Will Cantrell

The Vice President for Research Office announces the Research Excellence Fund Awards. Thanks to the volunteer review committees, as well as the deans and department chairs, for their time spent on this important internal research award process.

Will Cantrell, EPSSI/Physics, received an Infrastructure Enhancement Grants for Acquisition of a Cloud Condensation Nucleus Counter.
