Builders Foundation Scholarship

The Builders Foundation is excited to announce that, for the first year, the Builders Foundation Scholarship application is available online!  Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a sophomore or junior at time of application
  • Be a graduate of a Chicagoland area high school (16 counties in Illinois, southeast Wisconsin, and northwest Indiana)
  • Be majoring in Construction Management or Construction Engineering (civil/environmental/mechanical)

The Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Program

2017 The Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Program is available for US students who are enrolled in graduating high school senior, undergraduate studies, college graduates and the applicants who have a  cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

The award amount is $37,500.

The application deadline is September 21, 2017.

American Muscle Student Scholarship Program

American Muscle awards two scholarships for $2,000 each, twice a year to students who are pursuing an automotive degree or related field of study (such as Mechanical Engineering).  This scholarship is ongoing and will be available for both the spring and fall semesters each year.

Those students who have exceptional drive and ambition should submit a 700-1500 word essay to scholarships@americanmuscle.com telling us who you are and how you plan on using your automotive education to incite positive change and innovation within the custom car industry. All entries must be submitted as a PDF or Microsoft Word document to be eligible for consideration and must also be accompanied by proof of current enrollment in an accredited United States college or university.

Please submit your essays by 12:00PM EST on October 15th for all spring semester applicants and by June 15th for all fall applicants. Winning scholarships will be paid directly to the school as a tuition payment.

Winners will be selected by November 15th for all spring contestants and by July 15th for fall applicants.

This is a permanent program that is offered every year and is open for submissions each spring and fall semester!

WHO IS ELIGIBLE:

Only students currently enrolled full-time in an American college, technical institute, or high school seniors planning to attend a college or post-secondary institution are eligible to be awarded a scholarship through this program.

AmericanMuscle Student Scholarships are non-renewable, however, winning applicants may re-enter in future contests by writing and resubmitting a new essay. Only one essay per student, per semester is allowed.

Scholarships are restricted to those students pursuing an automotive degree or related field of study.

Nuclear Propulsion Officer Candidate Program

Nuclear Propulsion Officer Candidate Program

Sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students can receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus plus $3,800 per month until you graduate through this U.S. Navy program. There are no drills or uniforms. Available positions include naval reactors engineer, nuclear reactor prototype instructor, nuclear power school instructor, submarine and surface nuclear propulsion officer. Must be a U.S. citizen within 30 months of graduation (18 months for naval reactors engineer).

German American Chambers of Commerce – Heinz Prechter Scholarships

The Michigan Chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest is proud to announce that it is continuing its successful scholarship program in 2017 by awarding up to three scholarships of $2,000 each to qualified applicants in or around May.

Recipients are selected through an application and in-person interview process, open to students who are currently enrolled in good standing at a public or private college or university in Michigan, junior-class level or above, and pursuing an internship in Germany in 2017.

Also encouraged to apply are college or university professors conducting study projects aimed at exposing a group of students to Germany, its culture, language, and business environment. The letter of application should include pertinent project details such as number of students participating, key objectives, Germany travel dates, and associated cost.

Application Deadline: April 30, 2017

This scholarship program originated in 2002 and continues to honor Heinz Prechter for the unparalleled contributions he made to the advancement of international relations between Michigan and Germany. Mind Lab Pro – Natural Academics Scholarship

The Natural Academics Scholarship is available to all current students as well as incoming students and open to all majors. The objective is to get students thinking about non-medical stimulant drug use and to encourage a drug-free lifestyle.
