Vicky is a dual Spanish and German Consultant and a third year Mechanical Engineering major minoring in Economics. She is the captain of the MTU Women’s Tennis Varsity Team and enjoys writting, running and everything related to athletics. As an international student, she grew up in Cuenca, Ecuador and has lived in cities like New York, Munich, and now Houghton.
Paige joined the HDMZ in early 2016 as a student employee and we are pleased to announce that her position has elevated to part time staff! You will see Paige around the lab much more these days. If you have questions, need help with lab or media equipment, or just want to say “hi!” stop by her office (120f) anytime.
Aemili is a German consultant and a second year student in Liberal Arts, although she is leaning towards majoring in English. She was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI and has been a German tutor for the last three years. She is also a writer for the Pulse section of the Michigan Tech Lode. Aemili enjoys writing novels, reading, drawing, studying German, and petting cats at the Humane Society. She hopes to study abroad in Germany for at least one year during her college career.
Peter is a German consultant and second year computer science major. He plays tuba in the Huskies Pep Band and plays broomball with the section. In his spare time, he likes to go snowboarding, play racquetball and video games, listen to music and watch college football (favorite team Clemson Tigers). Peter hopes to get a German minor and after graduation to work somewhere warmer as a computer scientist or software engineer.
Jamie is a third year HDMZ Media Consultant and a fifth year Audio Production and Technology Major. He spends most of his time working on projects in McArdle Theatre, The Rozsa, and the recording studios. In his spare time he enjoys working on his car, biking the Tech trails, and skiing on Mont Ripley.
Shelbie is a fifth year Management student minoring in International French from Midland, MI. She studied abroad in Lille, France in Summer 2017 and would love to share her experience with you. She is involved with the Greek sorority Alpha Sigma Tau and her free time is spent hanging out with her friends, reading, exploring the Keweenaw, hammocking (weather permitting), and doing yoga. She is studying business management in the hopes of one day starting her own small business.
