Victoria Quinde — Spanish Consultant

Photo of Victoria QuindeVicky is a dual Spanish and German Consultant and a third year Mechanical Engineering major minoring in Economics. She is the captain of the MTU Women’s Tennis Varsity Team and enjoys writting, running and everything related to athletics. As an international student, she grew up in Cuenca, Ecuador and has lived in cities like New York, Munich, and now Houghton.

Ceci Arce — Spanish Consultant

Photo of Cecilia Arce Cecilia is a Spanish consultant and a third year Applied and Computational Mathematics student from Lake Orion, MI. In her spare time she enjoys going on long runs next to the portage, getting emotional about sports and lengthy trips through the Keweenaw. After graduation she hopes to join the Peace Corps and work on resource distribution.

Aemili Lipzinski — German Consultant

AemiliAemili is a German consultant and a second year student in Liberal Arts, although she is leaning towards majoring in English. She was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI and has been a German tutor for the last three years. She is also a writer for the Pulse section of the Michigan Tech Lode. Aemili enjoys writing novels, reading, drawing, studying German, and petting cats at the Humane Society. She hopes to study abroad in Germany for at least one year during her college career.

Peter Dukes — German Consultant

PeterPeter is a German consultant and second year computer science major. He plays tuba in the Huskies Pep Band and plays broomball with the section. In his spare time, he likes to go snowboarding, play racquetball and video games, listen to music and watch college football (favorite team Clemson Tigers). Peter hopes to get a German minor and after graduation to work somewhere warmer as a computer scientist or software engineer.

Sam Marek — German Consultant

Sam_marekSam is a German consultant and a senior in Mechanical Engineering with a German minor. Sam is an active member of MUB Board and plays trumpet in the Huskies Pep Band and Jazz R & D band. He also altar serves and is a Chapel Rat at St. Albert the Great. In his free time, he enjoys jazz, almost anything sci-fi, cooking, and baking. If you’re lucky, you can catch him at a game wearing a Jafar hat and cheering on our Husky teams with the Huskies Pep Band.
