Paige joined the HDMZ in early 2016 as a student employee and we are pleased to announce that her position has elevated to part time staff! You will see Paige around the lab much more these days. If you have questions, need help with lab or media equipment, or just want to say “hi!” stop by her office (120f) anytime.
Aemili is a German consultant and a first year student in Liberal Arts, although she is leaning towards majoring in English. She was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI and has been a German tutor for the last three years. She is also a writer for the Pulse section of the Michigan Tech Lode. Aemili enjoys writing novels, reading, drawing, studying German, and petting cats at the Humane Society. She hopes to study abroad in Germany for at least one year during her college career.
Patrick is a first year Media Consultant and a second year Scientific and Technical Communication major from Chicago. He uses his experience with web and graphic design in organizations such as the League of Legends Club and the CinOptic Enterprise. In his spare time he likes to watch documentaries, take pictures, learn, and make things.
Peter is a German consultant and first year computer science major. He plays tuba in the Huskies Pep Band and plays broomball with the section. In his spare time, he likes to go snowboarding, play racquetball and video games, listen to music and watch college football (favorite team Clemson Tigers). Peter hopes to get a German minor and after graduation to work somewhere warmer as a computer scientist or software engineer.
Noah is a dual French and Spanish consultant from Houghton with a passion for Linguistics. He enjoys learning new languages whenever possible and had the opportunity to live in Kenya for six months where he studied Swahili. Noah loves music and playing the guitar and has performed in several local bands. He ran cross country in high school, but has recently taken up skateboarding. In his spare time, he enjoys reading cheesy fiction and watching Vsauce on YouTube.
Jordan is a first year Spanish and Media consultant at the HDMZ and a fourth year Scientific and Technical Communication major at Michigan Tech. He specializes in Technical Writing and Spanish and had the opportunity to spend the summer studying abroad in Peru. In his spare time, Jordan likes to go biking, read comic books, and binge watch shows on Netflix.
Sam is a 2nd year German consultant in the HDMZ and a 3rd year mechanical engineering major with the intention of adding a German minor. Sam is an active member of MUB Board and plays trumpet in the Huskies Pep Band and Jazz R & D band. He also altar serves and is a Chapel Rat at St. Albert the Great. In his free time, he enjoys jazz, almost anything sci-fi, cooking, and baking. If you’re lucky, you can catch him at a game wearing a Jafar hat and cheering on our Husky teams with the Huskies Pep Band.
