Can you explain co-ops and internships?

Schedule a meeting with your advisor to discuss co-ops, and how a co-op will affect your plans. Internships are work experiences — but not for academic credit; and a co-op is something for which you register and earn credit.  When on co-op, you are considered a full time student, and you aren’t able to register for any other courses (typically).
