Provide technical solutions to equipment, process and application problems through on site observations, plus analysis of equipment and process data, to identify opportunities for improvement. IN – General Manager, Primary Operations – responsible for all aspects of Melt Shop operations including the safe functioning of the Electric Arc Furnace, Ladle Metallurgical Furnace, and Caster. Oversee all operations and assure production goals are met in a safe and efficient manner.

Summary:

The primary duty of this newly created Quality Engineer position is to develop, evaluate and improve quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products. This person will be responsible for the initiation and the continuous improvement of processes and procedures relating to established quality assurance and external agency testing, data acquisition and analysis, product and process audits, gauge calibration, and evaluation of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products within a manufacturing facility. This person will also be responsible for maintaining and improving processes and procedures within the Quality Management System to ensure ongoing approvals by ISO and other external audit groups.
General Responsibilities:
Lead & manage all supplier quality activities, including supplier development & monitoring of existing suppliers.
