Vice President for Research will be hosting an Export Control and Foreign National Security educational session on May 22 from noon–1:30 p.m. in Memorial Union Ballroom A2. Registration is open May 8–21.
This session will cover foreign national restrictions and considerations when conducting research. Topics covered include:
- managing technical data, intellectual property, and proprietary materials.
- defining and working with foreign nationals, publishing, and teaching.
- exporting and licensing considerations.
FBI agents from local offices will be on hand to contribute to the discussion and answer questions.
The session is recommended for faculty and staff. Desserts and beverages will be provided; please bring your own lunch. You can register for the event through our online system.
