2012 Sorority and Fraternity Recruitment

Greek Life will be hosting events for those interested in learning more about sororities and fraternities here at Michigan Tech.

For men interested in joining a fraternity, the Interfraternity Council will be hosting house tours on Sunday, September 9.  The tours leave from lot 15 in front of Wadsworth Hall and transportation will be provided.  The tours will begin at 3:00 PM and will be followed by a picnic, catered by Jimmy John’s, at the East Houghton Waterfront Park.  Men are reminded that no commitment is required.  This is a time to get to know the fraternities and learn more about them.

For women interested in joining a sorority, there will be a social hosted by the Panhellenic Council on Wednesday, September 12 at Hillside Place.  Snacks will be provided and information will be shared about the sororities and the recruitment process.  This is meant to be an informal way to get to know more about the sororities and their members.  Again, no commitment is required to attend the social.  To actually register for Formal Recruitment, women should go to https://www.involvement.mtu.edu/form/start/13319 and complete the required form.  Registration is due by Saturday, September 15 by 11:55 PM.

All students interested in learning more about both sororities and fraternities are also encouraged to check out the Greek booths at K-Day on Friday, September 7, at McLain State Park.  Come check out why more than 500 Michigan Tech students choose to be part of our amazing Greek community!
