Khana Khazana Serves up Indian Cuisine

A collaboration of Michigan Tech International Students and Michigan Tech Dining Services is bringing you a fine international lunch at the Memorial Union Food Court on Friday, September 27, 2013.

Tutors Needed at Jeffers High School

Do you have at least one hour each week to commit to tutoring and /or mentoring a Jeffers High School student?  Jeffers High School students will be scheduled to meet with you during the day or after school in accordance with your MTU class schedule.

Since Jeffers is in Painesdale, MI, (9 miles south of Houghton on M26) MTU students will be reimbursed $4 per visit for gas to help alleviate the cost of driving to the school. This fund is through a private donation.

Comedian Jody Fuller will be on campus Friday, October 4 at 10:00 PM in the MUB Ballroom. This 3 time Iraq war veteran, who just happens to stutter, takes you on an inspiring and hilarious journey from a stuttering kid in Alabama to the battlefields of Iraq. Student ID gets you in.

$500 scholarship Available

The Northern Michigan Chapter Society of Petroleum Engineers is pleased to announce that Matthew J Manning, majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Mineral Processing at Michigan Tech, was chosen as our Fall 2013 SPE Scholarship recipient.

This scholarship is made possible from the assistance of generous members of the Society of Petroleum Engineers Northern Michigan Chapter and is intended to help students who are interested in pursuing an engineering career in the petroleum industry. Please remember this $500 scholarship is available each semester to a selected student enrolled in a science-based curriculum simply by completing the application.  Scholarship Application Spring 2014
