Donations Sought for Nepal Disaster

As you may have read in the news already, Nepal was struck by a devastating earthquake on Saturday. The latest report from the Home Ministry of Nepal states that over 6200 people were killed, over 10,000 were injured and over 130.033 houses have been completely destroyed. Casualties are expected to rise as rescue and search operations are still underway. It is very discomfiting for us, members of Nepalese Student Association at MTU, that we are unable to be with our loved ones back home at this hour of great tragedy. While there is so little we can do about it, we are determined to do all that we can to help provide relief to the affected people in Nepal. We have opened an account at gofundme.com so that we could put together some fund and relay the fund to relief efforts back home.

It would be really helpful if you could help us spread the word around. We have been doing what we can to do so.

Donation may be made at http://www.gofundme.com/symb5n4. Every penny counts!
