CMG Student Scott Pokornowski Receives 2013 AGC Scholarship

The AGC of Michigan Educational Endowment Fund Trustees recently announced that Scott Pokornowski has been awarded the AGC of Michigan Louis C. Verrett Memorial Scholarship for 2013.  Scott is a senior in the School of Technology’s Construction Management Program.  Congratulations Scott!

Michigan’s Leading Commercial Construction Association Announces 2013-14 Scholarship Recipients

Lansing, Mich.– The AGC of Michigan Education Endowment Fund has named six scholarship recipients for the 2013-14 academic year. Students will receive scholarship awards of $2,500, bringing the total monies awarded over 28 years to $205,500. One hundred ten (110) students attending Michigan universities have benefitted from this program since its inception.  The Trustees selected the following winners for the school year 2013-2014:

Dakota Lasslett, FSU, CM – O.L. Pfaffmann Construction Industry Scholarship
Aaron Miller, NMU, CM – H.L. “Bud” Conrad Memorial Scholarship
Grant Moran, MSU, CM CM – Leon Clark Scholarship Award
Lauren Murphy, MSU, CM – Timothy O’Brien Undergraduate Scholarship
Scott Pokornowski, MTU, CM – Louis C. Verrette Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship
Evan Schroeder, FSU, CM – Alton L. Granger Scholarship
