Study Hard!

Final exams start next week, everyone is studying hard to prepare.  Below are some tips to help reduce stress and better prepare for exams. Good strategy will yield better study! Consider these tips when you are preparing for exams.

Study Smart

Be organized with your studies. Make a list of the most important things you need to learn, and hit the items at the top of the list.

Time out

Take a short break as soon as you notice your mind is losing concentration. Stick to activities that do not break your study continuum during these breaks. Avoid television and loud music. It is important to relax.

Maintain a regular sleep pattern

A regular seven hours of sleep is mandatory for the body to function well. Also, sleep at a regular time; don’t alter your sleeping cycle.

No Distractions

Keep all unimportant issues at bay. Stay away from distractions.

Positive Thinking

Avoid negative thoughts, and challenge such thoughts with positive thinking.

Eat Healthy

Try to eat food that is rich in vitamins and proteins, such as green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. Don’t drink too much coffee, tea or fizzy drinks. Caffeine will keep you up and reduce the clarity of your thinking.

Practice Relaxation Techniques

Practice deep breathing, meditation and yoga as forms of relaxation. Alternately, take a brisk walk in fresh air after your day’s revision is over.

Stay Calm

It’s important to stay calm before and during exams. Breathing exercises are extremely effective.

Try to incorporate these helpful tips into your study habits, study hard, and enjoy the Holiday break after your exams!
