Final Week

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the last week of the semester! It’s crazy how fast this semester has passed us by. Being busy with friends and schoolwork always make the 14 weeks feel so short. This semester has brought many great memories including Winter Carnival events, spring break trips, days spent at Mt. Ripley and Spring Fling (that is somehow always on a bright, sunny day). Along with these memories, there were many long nights in the library and early morning classes that were hard to wake up for. Whatever you experienced this semester, I hope you made the most of it and gave your best effort. Summer will bring a whole new list of memories and experiences. If you have an internship, are going home for the summer or staying up here; have a great few months and enjoy the (hopefully) warmer weather.

I wish you all the best of luck on finals. Remember to study hard, eat well and get some sleep.

I would also like to send huge congratulations to all of our graduating seniors. You made it to your final week of college. It might be a bittersweet moment but you have finally reached the moment you have been working so hard and long for. Best of luck in all of your future endeavors and never forget your Husky family.

Week 12

Hi everyone!

I hope you have had a good week and are enjoying the sunshine we have been having. This is always my favorite part of the year. The weather is warming up, classes are almost over and everyone is getting anxious for summer.

If there are any Green Bay Packers fans around Houghton, be sure to head up to the SDC tonight. The “Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour” will be coming to Michigan Tech! Those attending the tour include the Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy and players Brett Hundley, Aaron Ripkowski and Jake Ryan. The event starts at 6 pm and tickets are $10.

For those of you who are 21, there is a Food and Wine pairing event at the Memorial Union Building tomorrow night from 6-8. Come out and experience outstanding dishes and even better wines. Tickets will be $10 for students.

Tomorrow there will be a transfer/commuter student event hosted! Stop by library room 111 from 3-5 for a study break and some snacks.

Hope to see you tomorrow!
