Savvy Entrepreneur Series: Making Your First Sale

Please join Michigan Tech’s Office of Innovation and Industry Development with the School of Business and Economics to attend the first Great Lakes Savvy Entrepreneur Series of 2011-2012: Making Your First Sale.

This event will take place on Tuesday, September 13 and will begin with a networking and refreshments social at 5:30pm. The panel discussion will run from 6pm to 8pm at the ATDC Conference Room on 1402 E. Sharon Avenue in Houghton.

Making Your First Sale

Selling is awfully hard, but everyone has to do it or die. The anatomy of the first sale, how to position your service/product amongst the competition, how to structure the deal and the hidden risk of the trial program.  These critical topics with be discussed by a panel of seasoned entrepreneurs with the scars to prove it.  Co-produced with and hosted by a number of the region’s leading innovation accelerators and research institutions, the series provides early to mid-stage technology entrepreneurs with guidance on key topics that all start ups must navigate to realize success. Interactively hosted over the internet from UM Dearborn the program is a great networking opportunity for entrepreneurs in Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, Flint, Detroit, Houghton, Traverse City and Midland.
