The Keweenaw’s 2nd Annual Waste Reduction Drive

The MTU Sustainability Demonstration House recently launched the Keweenaw’s 2nd Annual Waste Reduction Drive.  We are collecting even more items than last year to divert from the landfill: dental products, disposable razors, plastic films, plastic bottle caps & rings, egg cartons, and foil-lined snack wrappers.  For each of these items, we found a unique recycle or reuse opportunity.   Our flyer is attached and the official guidebook can be found here (there is also a link for the guidebook on the flyer).  We would love to see our entire department participating in this event!
