Job Posting: TN Dept. of Transportation

Tennessee Department of Transportation has an opening for a Graduate Transportation Associate  (GTA) position, TDOT’s title for recently-graduated engineers.   They are looking for a December graduate to help manage their statewide pavement program.

Job duties will include assisting with managing their strategy for selection of paving projects through network-level pavement management and making sure they deliver paving projects with accurate plans and specifications within budget. TDOT’s annual Resurfacing budget is currently $227-million, which doesn’t include widening or new construction, so the level of work can be very interesting!

Mark Woods (State Pavement Engineer) can answer questions you may have regarding the position.
