The Michigan Tech College of Computing, the Michigan Tech Partner Engagement program, and Remote Workforce Keweenaw will host a networking event on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 4-7 p.m., in the Rozsa Center.
College of Computing undergraduate juniors and seniors are urged to attend.
The goal of the event is to help employers connect with local talent and become familiar with remote workers and employers. This is an opportunity to network and meet others who are new to the area and those working remotely.
Students, if you’re thinking of remote work as a way to stay in the area, come and learn what current remote workers in the Keweenaw are doing and how they’re doing it.
Faculty, this is an opportunity to learn about remote work options, meet local companies, and learn more about the many social and nonprofit organizations in the area.
The networking event is sponsored by Aspirus Health, Keweenaw Co-Op, Michigan Technological University, Orbion Technologies, and Remote Workforce Keweenaw.
