On December 12, 2023, the Michigan Tech Mind Trekkers will host the OneUP Copper Trail Festival, a STEM and career expo for middle school students held in the SDC Wood Gym.
We are seeking volunteers for this event. Your presence and participation as a volunteer will inspire hundreds of students, and allow STEM to be accessible to the next generation. There are 3 different possible volunteer shifts for this event – sign up for whatever you are able to!
- Load In (December 11th) – 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Morning (December 12th) – 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Afternoon (December 12th) – 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Volunteers will be leading Mind Trekker demonstrations – hands-on STEM demonstrations to allow middle school students to explore STEM at their own pace. No experience is necessary for any of the roles at the event, just a willingness to learn and an enthusiasm for learning.
Lunch will be provided for any volunteers volunteering for both the morning and afternoon sessions!
