Computing Graduate Students Invited to Town Hall Discussion Forum on November 15

College of Computing Dean Dennis Livesay and department chairs Zhenlin Wang and Dan Fuhrmann invite graduate students to join a Town Hall Discussion Forum on Friday, November 15, from 3-4 pm in Rekhi 214.

Graduate program directors Jean Mayo (computer science), Alex Sergeyev (mechatronics), Guy Hembroff (health informatics), and Laura Brown (data science) will also join the Town Hall Discussion Forum.

The open discussion forum is intended as a platform for graduate students to raise and discuss issues of importance to them. The floor will be open to any graduate student who wishes to speak.

Light refreshments will be served.

Info Session: DoD Cyber Service Academy Scholarship Program

An information session about the Department of Defense Cyber Service Academy (DoD CSA) will take place Tuesday, December 10, at 4 pm in Fisher Hall, Room 129. College of Computing faculty members Bo Chen and Yu Cai will share insights into the prestigious scholarship program, outline eligibility and application details, and explain the benefits of participation.

Please note that the location of this event has been changed to Fisher 129 from Rekhi 214.

The DoD CSA program provides scholarships to college students (non-DoD civilians) at the undergraduate and graduate levels to study in cyber-related majors at select National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C), including Michigan Tech.
