Graduate students are eligible for $5000 in funding, and the Graduate School will match this funding for PhD students with the following conditions:

  • The funding is used for summer support in 2025 (stipend)
  • The department or the PI agrees to pay the tuition

Fully Funded PhD Opportunity in Mechatronics

Assistant Professor Amna Mazen, Departments of Applied Computing and Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology, is seeking applications for a Ph.D. position in mechatronics starting in spring 2025. The research will focus on leveraging mobile manipulators for tasks in healthcare and industrial applications. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

Undergraduate Research Opportunity in Applied AI and Medical Imaging/Informatics

Save the Date: Career Services is hosting an on-campus jobs expo on Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Alumni Lounge in the MUB. Students are encouraged to come check out the job opportunities available right here on campus. Many Michigan Tech departments will be represented.

Michigander Scholar Exchange Is July 31

We are happy to announce our first Michigander Scholar Exchange!  It will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 2-5:30 pm at the MSU Management Training Center, 811 West Square Lake Road, Troy, MI.

We are looking forward to connecting students who are Active in the Michigan Scholars Program with key MS employers and companies of interest before heading back to campus.  This event serves as both an educational conference and a networking opportunity for students and company representatives.  Scholar companies expected to attend include Bosch, DENSO, Ford, General Motors, KLA, Magna, Mahle, Nissan, Toyota, Ultium Cells, and more.
