postdoc position in cellular engineering at CMU

A postdoctoral position for a highly motivated individual who is collaborative, but able to work independently is available with Prof Anne Skaja Robinson at Carnegie Mellon. Suitable candidates will have a PhD in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering or a related field, with experience in performing mammalian cell culture, protein expression and purification science and technologies and related experiments. Preference will be given to those familiar with handling of CHO cells (transfection, transient/ stable gene expression etc.) within a BSL2 laboratory, experience with bioreactors, and/or post-translational modifications. An updated CV with a list of publications, and at least 3 references with contact information should be submitted. The position is funded for 1 year and renewable upon satisfactory evaluation, and includes medical and retirement benefits.
