Assistant Professor position at Manhattan College



The Department of Chemical Engineering at Manhattan College invites applications for a full-
time, tenure track position at the Assistant Professor rank with an anticipated start date of

the Fall 2019 semester. The department seeks an exceptional candidate with a strong
academic record, who will be an active educator, serve as a mentor to students, work with
colleagues to assess and improve curricula, and be able to conduct research in a small,
private, undergraduate and master’s degree granting institution.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, preferably with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering
from an ABET accredited program, is desired. However, candidates with doctoral degrees and
strong records of achievement in other related chemical engineering fields will be
considered. Relevant teaching, industry experience, and professional licensure are all highly
