“MEEM 5010 Professional Engineering Communication” will be offered online this summer in Tracks A and B, meaning the course spans 14 weeks. This three-credit course meets the Advanced Responsible Conduct of Research requirement and helps graduate students prepare for a career in industry by teaching how to develop persuasive reports and presentations and how to communicate and collaborate effectively with other professionals.
The course is also a good precursor to the MEEM 6010 Engineering Research Communication course, which focuses on preparing journal papers, conference presentations, and proposals and is offered in the spring semester.
The CRN is 52339. The course is open to all graduate students in the College of Engineering . For more information, contact Nancy Barr (ME-EM).
