Visiting Faculty at Rose-Hulman

The Chemical Engineering Department at Rose-Hulman invites applications for a full-time visiting faculty position with an anticipated start date of November 2022. The department offers a B.S. in Chemical Engineering which is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET and ranked as the top program in the country for institutions without Ph.D. programs. We are looking for applicants with a strong commitment to undergraduate engineering education, including hands-on laboratory instruction.

Requirements include a doctorate or near completion in chemical engineering or closely related field. We are looking for candidates from all areas of chemical engineering who embrace the mission and vision of Rose-Hulman to join our collegial team of 11 faculty. The department and the institute place a high value on engaging students from traditionally underrepresented groups, and candidates from these groups are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates who can further broaden and enhance the educational experience of our students, especially with prior industrial experience, are also encouraged to apply. The essential job responsibility is classroom and laboratory teaching of two to three courses per ten-week quarter for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Faculty Positions in the Chemical and Biomedical Engineering Department at WVU

The Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (CBE) at West Virginia University (WVU) invites applications for one tenure track position and one non-tenure track teaching position in Biomedical Engineering. The CBE Department at WVU is one of the few departments in the country that offers separate degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from the same department. There is significant collaboration between chemical engineering and biomedical engineering faculty and annual research expenditures are of the order of $5 million. The department is undergoing major growth and rejuvenation, having hired seven new junior faculty last year.

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (CBE) at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering invites applications for two tenure track positions, open rank, in Chemical Engineering.

The CBE Department is undergoing major growth and rejuvenation, having hired six new senior and junior faculty in the last six years and moving into newly renovated laboratory space in the heart of Brooklyn. The Department is now eagerly looking for two additional colleagues to join the newly created Sustainable Engineering Initiative with the goal of establishing a leading ecosystem centered on education, research, and translation of technologies to Avoid, Mitigate, Remediate and Adapt to Climate Change and Environmental Pollution.
