Galatians 6:10 Scholarship (MTU Scholarship)

Michigan Tech is now accepting applications for the Galatians 6:10 Scholarship.

The winner of this scholarship will receive four years of tuition at the Michigan resident tuition level. The criteria are that the incoming freshman be pursuing a degree in Engineering or the Sciences, that they submit a letter of interest to tell the donor more about themselves and their faith, and that they obtain a letter of support from a member of the Clergy who is willing to speak on their behalf.

  • Eligibility: Incoming MTU freshman pursuing a degree in Engineering or the Sciences. Application open to Michigan residents and non-residents. (Non-resident award will be equal to the value of in-state tuition)
  • Award Value: Michigan resident tuition, renewable for four years
  • Deadline: Friday, February 12, 2021
  • How to Apply: Complete this Google Form Application providing:
    1. Letter of Interest to inform donor more about themselves and their faith.
    2. Letter of Support from a Clergy member on behalf of the student.

Olive Scholarship

Amount:  $1,000


  • Open to all currently enrolled students, majoring in Computer Science, Technology, Automotive Technology or Computer Information Systems
  • Students must be currently enrolled in a vocational/trade school, college or university program in the USA
  • Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or above at their current educational institution

  • Letter of recommendation
  • Unofficial transcript

Danone North America Gut Microbiome, Yogurt and Probiotics Fellowship Grant

Amount:  2 – $25,000


  • Excel in science and have an interest in studying the gut microbiome, probiotics and yogurt in human health and wellness (the “Field”)
  • Be an incoming, current and full-time enrolled graduate student, at least 18 years of age, studying in the Field (as defined above) during the 2020-2021 academic year at an accredited U.S. Institution
  • Be in good standing in the college or university, as well as major program of study. (Confirmation letter from department chair, dean or institution’s graduate studies, registrar or admissions office required.)
  • Be a current U.S. citizen (proof of citizenship is required) or permanent U.S. resident (proof of residency is required)

  • Official transcript from current institution or immediate past university if an incoming graduate student
  • CV or resume
  • One letter of recommendation received from faculty member or advisor by February 24, 2021.

HubBase Scholarship

Amount:  $500


  • Any student enrolled in a college in the United States is eligible to enter the competition

Application Requires the Following:

  • Application
  • Essay – Write an article of a minimum of 1000 words on the topic of Using Cloud Platforms to Host Websites (HubSpot, WordPress, Shopify, etc.)
