In a little more than six weeks, the Husky Emergency Assistance fund has received 255 donations totaling $51,600.
“We are so grateful for the outpouring of support,” said Beth Lunde-Stockero, chair of the committee. “I am proud of both our committee and community for rallying together to help our students and employees facing financial hardship because of COVID-19.”
Each week, the Husky Emergency Assistance Fund Committee meets to review and approve requests. Approximately $28,000 has been awarded to students and employees to date.
