The residence halls will open for the Fall semester on Saturday, August 24.
All new students who will live in the residence halls are welcome to arrive on this day. If you are a new student, you will follow the traffic signs and check in at the Library. You will pick up your Orientation materials there as well as your residence hall key. You will then follow the signs to your residence hall.
All returning students are permitted to move in starting on Saturday, August 24. Returning students are not required to arrive on this day. Many returning students choose to arrive at a more leisurely pace later later in the week. Returning students are strongly urged to arrive during daytime hours between 10am and 8pm. This will allow you to check in at the reception desk. Returning students in Douglass Houghton Hall should go to the Douglass Houghton Hall reception desk. Returning students in McNair Hall or Hillside Place will go to the McNair Hall reception desk. Returning students in Wadsworth Hall will go to the Wadsworth Hall reception desk.
Returning students who arrive late at night after the reception desks are closed will be able to check in at the Department of Police Services and Public Safety. You will need your Husky Card with you to pick up your key.
Not sure where to check in? Visit us at 153 Wadsworth Hall, email firstname.lastname@example.org , or call 906-487-2682. Housing is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm to help you.
