USG Sponsoring Bus for Thanksgiving Break

This message from the Undergraduate Student Govemnment was sent to all undergraduate students:

As you may know, for the last few years the Undergraduate Student Government has successfully charted a student bus for Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break. If you have purchased a ticket in the past, I’d like to thank you for making this a successful endeavor.

Thanksgiving is approaching once again, and the USG has charted a bus for this break as well. Once again tickets will be available to purchase online, as this will allow students (or family/friends) to purchase a ticket with a credit card.

After you have purchased a ticket it is YOUR responsibility to stop by the USG office (MUB 113) and sign a liability release form. If you purchase a ticket but do not sign a release form, you will not be able to ride the bus and will NOT be refunded.

As far as destinations, the route will be the same as previous trips with stops in St. Ignace, Gaylord, Clare, and the final stop in Lansing. There is more information regarding that on the Eventbrite website. (See the link below.)

Bus loading will begin promptly at 7:45 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2016. The bus WILL leave at 8:00 AM. The bus will make its return trip on Sunday, November 27 from East Lansing at 8:00 AM with the same stops along the way. The times for arrival are tentative as weather is more than likely going to affect the schedule in some way. USG recommends that you arrive at your designated pickup spot 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Ticket sales will begin on Tuesday, October 25 at 8:00 AM. The round trip cost will be $90 plus fees. The link to purchase a ticket is:

More information regarding the route can also be found there.

Thank you for your time!
