Cesar Poveda, a candidate for the faculty position in the School of Technology’s Construction Management program, will present “Disruptive Technology and Its Impact on the Design, Construction, and Operations of Infrastructure Projects” from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday (April 4) in Rekhi G006.
Poveda is a Columbian/Canadian professional engineer. Dr. Poveda graduated from the Civil Engineering Department at the Universidad Industrial de Santander. He combines practical and academic work experience throughout a career of over 25 years. As a practitioner, he has held different management positions in a variety of projects for national and international companies with backgrounds in heavy civil construction, oil and gas, [light and heavy] industrial, and infrastructure.
