Electrical Engineering Technology Faculty Candidate Presentation – Benjamin Walker

Benjamin Walker, a candidate for the faculty position in the School of Technology’s Electrical Engineering Technology program, will present “Automated Processing of Glacial Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)” from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday (April 18) in Rekhi G006.

Walker was an Electrical Engineering Professor at the University of Alaska, Anchorage School of Engineering for one year while completing his PhD at Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth College. His research interests lie in automated crevasse detection in ground penetrating radar data, and polar ground robotics.

Previously, Walker served in the USAF as a rescue specialist.
