Fall Night Success!

I wanted to give a big thanks to everyone that showed up to the Transfer Student Fall night! We had six students show up to make caramel apples and drink cider. It was super nice to talk to everyone and I certainly learned a lot from the students. Getting together like this is a great way to make new friends and spend more time on campus.

Remember, these events are for you! If you have any ideas that you want to do, feel free to email me or stop by my office hours. I would like to get more students coming to events throughout next semester. If you guys are willing to come,  I can plan more events! There will always be free food and lots of fun!

Hope you have a great Thanksgiving break and safe travels home!

P.S.- Unfortunately, it appears fall is over. Make sure you bring your snow shovels; you’re going to need them.

Fall Fun Night

The Fall Fun Night will take place next Thursday on November 14th. It will be from 6-8pm in the DHH ballroom. We will be making our very own caramel apples and drinking warm apple cider! I will have Apples to Apples and cards available to play or you can just sit and talk with me if you have any questions. Please feel free to stop by anytime from 6-8pm. You can stay the entire two hours or just 10-15 minutes. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow transfer students and make new friends, while eating food and having fun!

Don’t want to come alone? That’s perfectly fine! Bring friends or family members! Just please let me know by email so I can figure out the attendance. Please remember to RSVP by Tuesday November 12th, so I can have a good estimate for purchasing the materials needed.

Hope to see you all there and keep enjoying the wonderful fall weather we are having!
