The EPA National Student Services Contract has an immediate opening for a full-time Watershed Modeler with the Office of Research and Development at the EPA facility in Athens, GA.

As a team member, you will work with a WEB mentor as part of a multi-disciplinary research team and provide technical support for WEB’s watershed modeling components. Your research work includes literature search, algorithm and software component development in watershed hydrology domain within the context of water quantity and water quality.

Bioinformatics Assistant $21.59/hr

As a team member, you will be a member of a multi-disciplinary research team and work with computational biologists, EMVL contractors, and other members of ORD’s software development and informatics teams to support research efforts.

Summer Research Opportunities for Undergraduates

This summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) site is open to 10 undergraduates from across the U.S. to be held at Texas State University for 10 weeks over the summer. Funding ($6000 stipend plus additional benefits) is provided from an NSF CISE award.

Women, veterans, underrepresented minorities, and students from primarily teaching universities and colleges are especially encouraged to apply.

The application deadline is March 1st and we will continue to accept applications until all positions are filled.
