Global Remote Internships

Work from home (WFH)While there is a lot of uncertainty due to the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we wanted to ensure that career-driven students don’t miss out on the chance to gain real-world work experiences and the networking opportunities that come with a summer internship.

To help with this, International Studies Abroad (ISA) created Global Remote Internships.

The program takes advantage of the recent telecommuting push and provides students with the chance to gain practical 21st century skills and international experience without leaving their home. They’ll have the chance to work with a company in one of six countries across Asia, Europe, and the Pacific.

Students have the opportunity to either participate in a group project—working remotely alongside other students to complete the project—or in an individual placement working directly with a supervisor at an organization to complete a project. In both cases, participants will have a structured program that includes a mentor or career coach to ensure that they maintain engagement and contribute at their full potential.

In addition to being able to select from three unique program options, students will also have the option to receive college credit.
