Dr. Yakov Nekrich is looking for qualified and motivated graduate students, to work on efficient data structures. Full financial support as RA/TA is available. The current research focus is on range reporting and compressed data structures; more information can be found at pages.mtu.edu/~yakov/research.
Applicants are expected to have a keen interest in the design of algorithms and data structures. Previous research experience and/or implementation skills are also desirable. Interested applicants should send their CV and transcripts to yakov@mtu.edu.
