CyberSEED 2023, a cybersecurity event and competition organized by University of Connecticut since 2014, will take place virtually Saturday, March 4, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. EST.

CyberSEED 2023 is open to teams of 2-4 students. The main event is a “Capture the Flag” style competition. This year’s competition will touch on a variety of cybersecurity challenges, including a set of flags focusing on reverse engineering, web application security, network traffic analysis, cryptography, and others.
The competition will require a breadth of skills, including some basic scripted programming capabilities and a facility with network monitoring and forensics tools.
CyberSEED 2023 is sponsored by Synchrony, which will reward the top 10 teams with prizes totaling $11,000.
