Please note that the Graduate School has recently updated its deadlines to complete a coursework degree and enter candidacy (highlighted below). Here are a few important items and Graduate School deadlines to remember:
- Forms and deadlines are available online. You can add the deadlines to your google calendar, too. Forms must be submitted online by graduate programs.
- All PDF forms must be completed in Adobe Acrobat or Reader. All docx forms must be completed in Microsoft Word. Completing them in 3rd party readers will lead to blank forms or missing form fields.
Degree Deadlines
- February 9, 2024 – Deadline for students to submit a Graduation Application. Required for all spring 2024 graduates.
- April 15, 2024 (4pm)
- Deadline to submit a petition to enter candidacy for summer 2024.
- Deadline to submit degree completion paperwork for all spring 2024 graduates.
- Deadline for students to submit a dissertation, thesis, or report to complete their degree in spring 2024 with no additional registration.
- May 1, 2024 (4pm)
- Deadline for students to submit a dissertation, thesis, or report submission to complete their degree in summer 2024 during the grace period. Note that this is only relevant to students earning a terminal degree.
Graduate School Funding Deadlines
- January 23, 2024 (4pm) – Deadline to submit a summer 2024 CSCHF Assistantship pre-proposal. Required to submit a full application.
- February 6, 2024 – Deadline to submit a summer 2024 DeVlieg Foundation Fellowship application.
- February 16, 2024 – Deadline for graduate programs to nominate students for a Recruiting Fellowship.
- March 5, 2024 (4pm) – Deadline to submit a summer 2024 CSCHF Assistantship full application (by invitation only).
- March 6, 2024 (4pm) – Deadline to submit a summer 2024 Doctoral Finishing Fellowship application.
- April 9, 2024 (4pm) – Priority deadline to submit a KCP Future Faculty Fellowship application.
- April 30, 2024 (4pm) – Final deadline to submit a KCP Future Faculty Fellowship application.
