International Programs and Services will host two federal tax workshops on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and from 6:30-7:30 p.m., both in MEEM 120. The workshops will be conducted by Traci Bishop of the Michigan Tech Office of Financial Services and Operations.
Participants should bring the following items to the workshop:
- Forms: W-2 (wage statement), 1042-S (wages paid under a tax treaty, fellowship and athletic scholarship recipient if nonresident alien for tax purposes), and 1099 (interest income, etc.)
- ALL US entry and exit dates
- SSN or ITIN number (If you do not have one, you can apply through GLACIER)
- I-20 (F visa holder) or DS-2019 (J visa holder)
- Passport and visa
