H1-B Information Session Is March 28


Graduate Student Government will host an online Hi-B information session on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 12-1 pm. The session will explain the H-1B process, share insights from an employer’s perspective, how to change employers while on an H-1B, What employment termination means while on an H-1B, and more. The session will be presented by Susan Im, J.D., ImLaw.

Susan Im, the founder of ImLaw, PC, has practiced immigration law for more than 25 years, with a focus on employment-based immigration. Im is passionate about educating and assisting employers and students on F-1 employment options, the H-1B work visa, and alternatives to the H-1B.  She has held numerous leadership positions with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) on the national and state level. Im has received the “Best Lawyers” designation by U.S. News & World Report and the “Leading Lawyers” distinction for the past several years.  She has also served as a faculty member of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE), where she has presented on a variety of business immigration topics.
