The American National Standards Institution (ANSI) is onducting a student paper competition in AI with the theme “What Role do or could Standards Play in Safe and Effective Implementation of Artificial Intelligence Applications/Systems?” The first place winner receives $2,000, and second place receives $1,000.

- Forms and deadlines are available online. You can add the deadlines to your google calendar, too. Forms must be submitted online by graduate program directors or assistants.
- All PDF forms must be completed in Adobe Acrobat or Reader. All docx forms must be completed in Microsoft Word. Completing them in 3rd party readers will lead to blank forms or missing form fields.

Students who are completing a dissertation, thesis, or report are invited to join the Graduate School to learn about the resources available to them to assist in scheduling their defense, formatting their documents, and submitting their documents. In one afternoon, you can learn everything you need to be successful and complete your degree in a timely fashion! Faculty and staff who assist students with submissions are also welcome to attend. Attend the entire event, or stop in for the seminar that interests you.
Pre-proposals for Fall 2024 CSCHF Graduate Assistantships are being accepted and are due no later than 4pm, May 21, 2024 to the Graduate School. Students who best meet the foundation’s criteria will be invited to submit a full application, which will be due on June 25, 2024.
