Graduate Student Government will present a poster session at the Michigan Tech Alumni Reunion on Friday August 2, 2024. All graduate students are invited to present their research at the poster session. There are a total of 15 openings to present posters. Look for more information in future weekly emails.
The Laboratory for Integrative Physiology at Michigan Tech is recruiting male and female research volunteers. We are conducting a study to better understand how nicotine (via smoking, vaping or chewing) affects cardiovascular responses to simulated hemorrhage.
Students who are completing a dissertation, thesis, or report are invited to join the Graduate School to learn about the resources available to them to assist in scheduling their defense, formatting their documents, and submitting their documents. In one afternoon, you can learn everything you need to be successful and complete your degree in a timely fashion! Faculty and staff who assist students with submissions are also welcome to attend. Applications are now being accepted for the 2024 Songer Research Award for Human Health. Matthew Songer ’79 (B.S. Biological Sciences) and Laura Songer ’80 (B.S. Biological Sciences) have generously donated funds to the College of Sciences and Arts (CSA) for the past seven years to support a research project competition, the Songer Research Award for Human Health, for undergraduate and graduate students.
