Computer Science

Koloud Al Khamaiseh, Assistant Teaching Professor (Fall 2023)
Al Khanaiseh holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Western Michigan University. Her research interests include machine learning, HTML parsing and information retrieval, and pattern recognition.

Stella Otoo, Assistant Teaching Professor (Fall 2023)
Otoo holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from New Mexico State University. Her areas of expertise include computer science education, experiential learning in STEM, and user interface design.

Applied Computing

Nader Abu-Alrub, Assistant Teaching Professor, Applied Computing (Fall 2023)
Abu-Alrub’s teaching interests include electrical machinery, power electronics and drive systems, and digital design and modeling with FPGA

Ronghua (Sam) Xu, Assistant Professor, Applied Computing (Fall 2023)
Xu holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Binghamton University – State University of New York (SUNY). His research interests include network security, Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, and edge computing.

Sherry Wyeth, Academic Advisor (Fall 2023)
Wyeth is the academic advisor for the bachelor of science programs in Data Science, Computer Science, and Software Engineering, and the master of science program in Data Science. She also coordinates the College of Computing Student Ambassadors program.
