Amount: $1000

Eligibility: 

  • Applicants must be a member in good standing at Peninsula Federal Credit Union
  • Enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school during the year listed on the scholarship application
  • Maintain a GPA of 2.50 or higher, and attend the college, university, or trade school during the year listed on the scholarship application
  • Not be an immediate family member of a Peninsula Federal Credit Union employee or volunteer.

Amount: $1000

Eligibility: 

  • Applicants must be a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior, or a current or entering college or graduate school student of any level. Home-schooled students are also eligible.
  • No age limit
  • Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident

Michigan Infrastructure & Transportation Association (MITA)

Amount: Variable

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be college or trade school bound for the purpose of pursuing a career in the heavy construction industry

Application Requires the Following:

  • Essay (500 word, 12pt font)
  • Recent copy of transcripts including GPA and SAT/ACT scores
  • Resume detailing applicants extracurricular activites, part-time jobs, and community service
  • Letter of recommendation not related to the candidate (3 letters max, no more than one page in length each)

American Business Women’s Association Scholarships – Greater Oakland Charter Chapter

Amount: $2,000

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be a woman who is a U.S. citizen and will be a college freshman through graduate level students in the Fall of 2026, or a woman who will be a college junior through graduate level students in Fall of 2026
  • Primary (home) residence must be in Michigan
  • Has achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale

Application Requires the Following: 

  • Must complete an online application (link will be provided) and submit an official transcript, a biographical sketch, and three (3) professional letters of reference dated in the same year as her application.

Waub Ajijaak Press and Foundation Leadership Scholarship

Amount: $2,000

Eligibility: Applicants must be of Native American, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian descent as they pursue undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and professional degrees at accredited institutions in Michigan.

Application Requires the Following:

  • Essay
  • Confirmation of Native Identity – Please attach your Tribal ID or a letter from the enrollment department. We will also accept a parent’s Tribal ID accompanied by documentation verifying the parent-child relationship. Please note that there is no minimum blood quantum requirement for eligibility.
  • Letter of Acceptance – Submit this from your college/university.
  • Transcript – Recent official and unofficial academic transcripts are both acceptable.
  • High School Diploma or GED – Attach your high school diploma or GED documentation if applicable.
