Assistant Professor Evan Kane (SFRES/ESC) has received $123,698 from the US Forest Service for, “Response of Forest and Peatland Ecosystems to Environmental Change.”

Assistant Professor Evan Kane , co-PI Rod Chimner and co-PI Tom Pypker have recieved $560,115 from the National Science Foundation for a three-year project, Collaborative Research: PEATcosm: Understanding the Interactions of Climate, Plant Functional Groups and Carbon Cycling in Peatland Ecosystems.
Assistant Professor Rodney Chimner and Jim Bess have received $148,650 from the US Environmental Protection Agency for a 32-month project, “Restoring Peatlands from Large Scale Ditching.”
